Abstract
La tuberculosis es una enfermedad muy prevalente en nuestro país y el mundo, actualmente es una de las principales causas de morbilidad y mortalidad a nivel mundial; el principal manejo de esta enfermedad es el tratamiento antibiótico antituberculoso. El tratamiento antibiótico a menudo se relaciona con reacciones adversas a los medicamentos, siendo la hepatotoxicidad la principal reacción adversa a los medicamentos antituberculosos.
La resistencia a los antibióticos antituberculosos ha aumentado y es muy importante establecer nuevos factores de riesgo para el desarrollo de tuberculosis multidrogo resistente; por lo que se desarrolla el presente proyecto de investigación.
Objetivo: Identificar si la reacción adversa hepática a los medicamentos antituberculosos en adultos con tuberculosis sensible aumenta el riesgo de desarrollar tuberculosis multidrogo resistente.
Metodología: Estudio observacional analítico con diseño de casos y controles.

Tuberculosis is a very prevalent disease in our country and the world, it´s currently one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide; the main management of this disease is antituberculous antibiotic treatment. The antibiotic treatment often linked to adverse drug reactions, hepatotoxicity being the main adverse reaction to antituberculous drugs.
The resistance to antituberculous antibiotics has increased and it´s very important to establish new risk factors for the development of multidrug resistant tuberculosis; therefore, the present project of investigation will be carried out.
Objective: To identify if the hepatic adverse reaction to antituberculous drugs in adults with susceptible tuberculosis increases the risk of developing multidrug resistant tuberculosis.
Methodology: An analytical observational study with a case-control design.
