dc.descriptionInvestigation descriptive correlacional, with the purpose of determining the relations that exists between the occupation and level of knowledge about early stimulation, of adolescent mothers, with the psychomotor development of the infants of 1 to 2 years that go to the control of growth and development (CRED) in the center of infantile maternal health Santa Isabel", of the Porvenir during the months of September to October of the 2006. The size of the sample was constituted by 93 adolescent mothers with children from 1 to 2 years. For the gathering of data, it was applied: The Scale of Evaluation of the psychomotor development (EEDP) and an instrument to determine the occupation and level of knowledge about early stimulation. The obtained data were tabulated and analyzed with statistical methodology, through the test of independence of criterions (square chi) and the test correlation of Pearson. The results and analysis show that statistical significancia doesn't exist between the occupation of mothers and the psychomotor development of the infants, however the variable level of knowledge about early stimulation, has statistical significancia with the psychomotor development of the infants.es_PE
dc.description.abstractInvestigación descriptiva correlacional realizada, con la finalidad de determinar la relación que existe entre la ocupación y nivel de conocimientos sobre estimulación temprana, de madres adolescentes, con el desarrollo psicomotor de los infantes de 1 a 2 años que acuden al control de crecimiento y desarrollo (CRED) en el centro de salud materno infantil “Santa Isabel”, del Porvenir durante los meses de Septiembre a Octubre del 2006. El tamaño de la muestra estuvo constituido por 93 madres adolescentes con niños de 1 a 2 años. Para la recolección de datos, se aplicó: La Escala de Evaluación del desarrollo psicomotor (EEDP) y un instrumento para determinar la ocupación y nivel de conocimientos sobre estimulación temprana. Los datos obtenidos fueron tabulados y analizados con metodología estadística, a través de la prueba de independencia de criterios (chi cuadrado) y la prueba correlación de Pearson. Los resultados y análisis muestran que no existe significancia estadística entre la ocupación de madres y el desarrollo psicomotor de los infantes, sin embargo la variable nivel de conocimiento sobre estimulación temprana, tiene significancia estadística con el desarrollo psicomotor de los infantes.es_PE
