dc.descriptionThe objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of three doses of carincula extract of Ricinus communis L. for the control of Spodoptera frugiperda JE SMITH in Zea mays L. in the HYBRID DEKALB - 1596 in the populated center of Santa Elena In the Province of Virú in the Department of La Libertad. The incidence and severity of the fall armyworm Spodoptera frugiperda JE SMITH were evaluated, using a randomized complete block design (DBCA) with three doses of the bioinsecticide based of caruncula of higuerilla and a mixture of agricultural insecticide as a common control, making a total of four treatments with three replicates. To compare the average of the treatments the results of the ANOVA (analysis of variance) were observed. The treatment of the bioinsecticide that obtained better control in terms of incidence and severity of fall armyworm Spodoptera frugiperda JE Smith was treatment 3 with a dose of 2 liters of caruncle extract per 20 liters of water in the HYBRID DEKALB - 1596 in Viru, La Libertad.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue evaluar el efecto de tres dosis de extracto de carúncula de Ricinus communis L., para el control de Spodoptera frugiperda J. E. SMITH en Zea mays L. en el HÍBRIDO DEKALB – 1596 en el Centro poblado de Santa Elena en la Provincia de Virú en el Departamento de La Libertad. Se evaluó la incidencia y la severidad del gusano cogollero Spodoptera frugiperda J. E. SMITH, para ello, se utilizó el diseño de bloques completos al azar (DBCA) con tres dosis del bioinsecticida a base de carúncula de higuerilla y una mezcla de insecticida agrícola como testigo común, haciendo un total de cuatro tratamientos con tres repeticiones. Para comparar el promedio de los tratamientos se observaron los resultados del ANOVA (análisis de varianza). El tratamiento del bioinsecticida que obtuvo un mejor control en cuanto a incidencia y severidad del cogollero Spodoptera frugiperda J. E. Smith, fue el tratamiento 3 con una dosis de dos litros de extracto de carúncula por 20 litros de agua en el hibrido Dekalb – 1596 en Viru, La Libertad.es_PE
