dc.descriptionThe number of hydrants is currently 497 hydrants, of which only 10% (36)_x000D_ are in operation in downtown Trujillo. Faced with this situation, firefighters do not_x000D_ respond to the various emergencies that arise at the optimum time, in effect the_x000D_ material damage increases and the victims increase due to the lack of water supply_x000D_ and the uselessness of hydrants._x000D_ In this research a network of hydrants was strategically located, through the design_x000D_ of a genetic algorithm (heuristic method), where there are many different solutions_x000D_ (chromosomes) and only one individual should be selected, the most efficient,_x000D_ which was evaluated by the function of utility and determined the best adapted individual_x000D_ of the total population (network of hydrants) in the form of an arrangement,_x000D_ which represents the location points of hydrants on the map._x000D_ The result is an optimal hydrant network (the initial population evolved efficiently_x000D_ in each generation), as well as reducing the number of hydrants that make_x000D_ up the network and the average distance of the network to accidents that occurred in_x000D_ the vicinity of its position. This will be useful to establish a new way of distributing_x000D_ the hydrants and dealing with emergencies with hydrants closer and better locatedes_PE
dc.description.abstractLa cantidad de hidrantes actualmente es de 497 hidrantes, de los cuáles sólo_x000D_ el 10% (36) están en funcionamiento en el centro de Trujillo. Ante esta situación,_x000D_ los bomberos no atienden en el tiempo óptimo las diversas emergencias que se_x000D_ originan, en efecto se incrementan los daños materiales y aumentan las víctimas,_x000D_ por la falta de abastecimiento de agua e inutilidad de hidrantes._x000D_ En esta investigación se ubicó estratégicamente una red de hidrantes, mediante_x000D_ el diseño de un algoritmo genético (método heurístico), dónde existen muchas soluciones_x000D_ (cromosomas) distintas y solamente se debe seleccionar un individuo, el_x000D_ más eficiente, el cual se evaluó mediante la función de utilidad y se determinó el_x000D_ individuo mejor adaptado de la población total (red de hidrantes) de la forma de un_x000D_ arreglo, que representa a los puntos de ubicación de los hidrantes en el mapa._x000D_ El resultado es una red de hidrantes óptima (la población inicial evolucionó_x000D_ eficientemente en cada generación), además se redujo la cantidad de hidrantes que_x000D_ conforman la red y la distancia promedio de la red a siniestros que ocurrieron en_x000D_ los alrededores de su posición. Esto será útil para establecer un nuevo modo de_x000D_ distribuir los hidrantes y atender las emergencias con hidrantes más cercanos y_x000D_ mejor ubicadoses_PE
