dc.descriptionThe present study quasi-experimental research study was realized in the Hospital Vista Alegre Microred Victor Larco, Trujillo during the months May to December 2013, in order to determine the effectiveness of the program educational "preserving lives" at the level of knowledge of the nurses on the immediate attention of the newly-born". The sample universe was formed by 21 nurses who met the inclusion criteria. Two instruments were used: Level of knowledge about the immediate attention of the newly-born and the educational "Preserving Lives" program. The information, was processed, analyzed, and presented in simple tables and double entry. As a result it was found that before the implementation of the program 42.9 % of nurses presented average level of knowledge about immediate care of the newborn, the 33.3% low level of knowledge, and high level of knowledge 23.8% and at the end of the study and applied program 100% of the nurses obtained level of good knowledge demonstrating the effectiveness of the educational "Preserving Lives" program, (t: 0.95).es_PE
dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tipo Cuasi experimental se realizó en el Hospital Vista Alegre - Microred Víctor Larco, Trujillo, durante los meses Mayo a Diciembre del 2013 con la finalidad de determinar la efectividad del Programa Educativo “Preservar Vidas” en el Nivel de Conocimiento de las enfermeras sobre la Atención Inmediata del Recién Nacido” El universo muestral estuvo constituido por 21 enfermeras que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Se utilizaron dos instrumentos: “Nivel de Conocimientos sobre Atención Inmediata del Recién Nacido y el Programa Educativo “Preservar Vidas”. La información fue procesada, analizada y presentada en cuadros simples y doble entrada. Como resultado se encontró que antes de la aplicación del programa el 42.9% de enfermeras presentaron nivel de conocimiento medio sobre atención inmediata del recién nacido, el 33.3% nivel de conocimiento bajo y el 23.8% nivel de conocimiento alto; después de aplicado el programa el 100% de las enfermeras obtuvieron nivel de conocimiento alto evidenciando la efectividad del Programa Educativo “Preservar Vidas”, (t: 0.95).es_PE
