| dc.description | This descriptive correlational and cross-sectional study was conducted on 100 mothers of newborns hospitalized in the hospital of Trujillo Victor Lazarte Echegaray in order to determine the relationship between maternal factors: age, occupation, education level and number of children above and maternal attitude at the start of breastfeeding the newborn hospitalized at the Intermediate unit and intensive care. It came to the following conclusions: 34% of mothers are between 30-34 years, 76% have home as an occupation, 49% reached the degree of secondary education, and 59% have had previous children. The predominant maternal attitude toward breastfeeding in newborn hospitalized unfavorable 82%, only 18% are in fairly favorable attitude. No case (0%) was found in favorably. The family support dimension stands with the highest percentage in fairly favorable attitude. There is significant statistical relationship between educational attainment and the attitude of the mother of the newborn hospitalized at the beginning of breastfeeding (p = 0.029). There is no statistically significant relationship between age, occupation and previous children and the attitude of the mother. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal, se realizó en 100 madres de recién nacidos hospitalizados en el hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray de Trujillo con el propósito de determinar la relación entre los factores maternos: edad, ocupación, nivel de instrucción y número de hijos anteriores y la actitud materna en el inicio de la Lactancia Materna del recién nacido hospitalizado en la unidad de Cuidados Intermedios e Intensivos. Se llegó a las siguientes conclusiones: el 34% de las madres tiene entre 30 a 34 años, el 76% tiene como ocupación su casa, el 49% alcanzó el grado de instrucción secundario, y el 59% no han tenido hijos anteriores. La actitud materna predominante en relación a la lactancia en recién nacido hospitalizado es desfavorable con 82%, solamente un 18% se encuentra en actitud medianamente favorable. No se encontró ningún caso (0 %) en actitud favorable. La dimensión apoyo familiar destaca con mayor porcentaje en actitud medianamente favorable. Existe relación estadística significativa entre el grado de instrucción y la actitud de la madre del recién nacido hospitalizado en el inicio de la lactancia materna (p = 0.029). No existe relación estadística significativa entre edad, ocupación e hijos anteriores y la actitud de la madre. | es_PE |
