dc.description.abstractLa presente tesis tuvo como objetivo establecer las relaciones intertextuales entre las obras literarias Huasipungo de Jorge Icaza y Redoble por Rancas de Manuel Scorza. Para ello, se utilizó el método descriptivo-interpretativo, que permitió analizar, sintetizar, comparar e interpretar el contenido textual de ambas obras objetos de estudio tomando como base las teorías de la intertextualidad. Los resultados revelaron tres tipos de relaciones intertextuales encontradas en la comparación de los contenidos de ambas obras. En primer lugar, a nivel temático, se encontró que ambas novelas abordan de manera similar problemáticas como el indigenismo, la explotación del indio, la lucha campesina y el exterminio de las comunidades indígenas. La segunda relación intertextual identificada fue a nivel de personajes, se observa que El Cura y el padre Chasán; Andrés Chiliquinga y Héctor Chacón; Alfonso Pereira, Francisco Montenegro y Migdonio de la Torre interpretan ideales, personalidades y características similares. La última relación intertextual que se estableció fue a nivel de espacio narrativo, debido a que ambas novelas tienen como escenario común la cordillera de los Andes y la sierra rural del Ecuador y Perú respectivamente. En conclusión, las relaciones intertextuales entre las obras “Huasipungo” de Jorge Icaza y “Redoble Por Rancas” de Manuel Scorza se presentan a nivel temático, a nivel de personajes y a nivel de espacio narrativo.
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this thesis was to establish the intertextual relationships between the literary works Huasipungo by Jorge Icaza and Redoble por Rancas by Manuel Scorza. In order to achieve this, a descriptive-interpretive method was used, which allowed for the analysis, synthesis, comparison and interpretation of the textual content of both works under study, based on theories of intertextuality. The results clearly revealed the existence of three types of intertextual relationships in the comparison between of the contents of the both works. Firstly, at the thematic level, it was found that both novels dealt similarly with issues such as indigenism, exploitation of indigenous people, peasant struggle, and the extermination of indigenous communities. The second intertextual relationship identified was at the character level, where it was found that El Cura and Father Chasán; Andrés Chiliquinga and Héctor Chacón; Alfonso Pereira, Francisco Montenegro and Migdonio de la Torre embody similar ideals, personalities and characteristics. The final intertextual relationship established was at the level of narrative space, as both novels are set in the Andean mountain range and the rural highlands of Ecuador and Peru, respectively. In conclusion, the intertextual relationships between Huasipungo by Jorge Icaza and Redoble por Rancas by Manuel Scorza are presented at the levels of theme, character and narrative space.
