dc.descriptionObjective: To determine the characteristics of potential drug interactions in mental health service Rebagliatti Martins National Hospital, July-December 2009 Method: A retrospective descriptive study and were analyzed and ranked 318 computerized prescription records of patients treated in mental health services entered into the system and dispensed by the pharmacy of the HNERM service, between July 1 and December 31, 2009. Results and conclusions: 190 prescriptions were identified and quantified 215 potential drug interactions, of which the most frequent were Biperiden - Haloperidol (11.63%), Biperiden - Chlorpromazine (9.3%), Biperiden - fluphenazine (8.37%) was determined the most common potential drug interactions by type, were type Pharmacodynamic with 60%, the most common potential drug interactions of clinical significance were 2 (59.5%) drugs with higher number of potential drug interactions were BIiperideno (24.83% ), Haloperidol (12.87%), chlorpromazine (11.03%), fluphenazine (8.05) and carbamazepine (6.90%).es_ES
dc.description.abstractObjetivo: Determinar las características de las interacciones medicamentosas potenciales en el servicio de salud mental del Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliatti Martins, Julio - Diciembre 2009 Método: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo transversal y retrospectivo, se analizaron y clasificaron 318 registros computarizados de prescripciones médicas de los pacientes atendidos en el servicio de salud mental ingresados al sistema y dispensadas por la farmacia del mismo servicio del HNERM, entre el 1 de Julio y el 31 de Diciembre del 2009. Resultados y conclusiones: Se identificaron 190 prescripciones médicas y se cuantificó 215 Interacciones Medicamentosas potenciales, de los cuales las mas frecuentes fueron Biperideno - Haloperidol (11.63%), Biperideno - Clorpromazina (9.3%), Biperideno - Flufenazina (8.37%); se determinó que las interacciones medicamentosas potenciales mas frecuentes según tipología, fueron de tipo farmacodinámicas con 60%; las interacciones medicamentosas potenciales mas frecuentes fueron las de significancia clínica 2 (59.5%); los fármacos que presentaron mayor número de interacciones medicamentosas potenciales fueron BIiperideno (24.83%), Haloperidol (12.87%), Clorpromazina (11.03%), Flufenazina (8.05) y Carbamazepina (6.90%).es_ES
