dc.descriptionThe present work is a morpho-techno-decorative study of the Chimu potherys found in the El Brujo archaeological complex and in the pampas of Chiquitoy in the lower valley of the Chicama, pothery pieces have been selected that come from the museums of Chiquitayap, Cao and Larco associated with the Chimu culture. In this research the use of record sheets has been used, which has made it possible to classify the most repetitive technological, morphological and decorative data of Chimu potterys in their stylistic phases according to the works of Donnan and Mackey (1978) in order to understand the Chimu occupation in this geographical area. An aerophotographic recordwas also made of the archaeological sites located in the pampas of Chiquitoy. This work has established that the predominant Chimu stylistic phases determine the late Chimu and Chimu - Inca phases, this would indicate that the Chimu presence in the lower Chicama valley would begin in the late phases, in addition to this direct Chimu connection to the Agricultural activities and the Inca occupation in this area would continue to use Chimu artisans who, little by little, would be introducing changes in Chimu Ceramics.es_PE
dc.description.abstractLa presente tesis es un estudio morfológico, tecnológico y decorativo de la cerámica de filiación Chimú pertenecientes al Complejo arqueológico El Brujo y en las pampas de Chiquitoy, Valle bajo del Chicama, se han seleccionado las piezas de cerámica de filiación Chimú que pertenecen a los museos de Chiquitayap, Museo Cao y Museo Larco. En esta investigación se ha empleado fichas de registro, lo que ha permitido clasificar lo datos tecnológicos, morfológicos y decorativos más reiterativos de la cerámica Chimú para poder identificar las fases estilísticas de acuerdo a los trabajos de Donnan y Mackey (1978), y tener un mejor entendimiento de la cerámica Chimú en esta área geográfica. También se procedió a un registro aerofotográfico de los sitios arqueológicos ubicados en las pampas de Chiquitoy, para complementa el estudio. Este trabajo realizado ha permitido establecer que las fases estilísticas Chimú predominantes, serían las fases Chimú Tardía y Chimú-Inca, esto indicaría que la presencia Chimú en el valle bajo del Chicama se concretaría en las fases tardías, además de que esta ocupación estaría asociada a la ocupación Chimú a las actividades agrícolas y en la ocupación inca en esta zona se continuaría utilizando artesanos Chimú que estarían introduciendo cambios significativos en la cerámica Chimú.es_PE
