dc.descriptionThe present research aimed to determine the level of knowledge about preventive measures and socio demographic factors in the family caregiver of patients with chronic kidney disease Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray. It is a quantitative, descriptive - transverse type, with a universe of 300 family caregivers and a sample of 73 individuals. The instrument of data collection consisted of 2 parts, the first regarding the general data of the family and patient caregiver, the second part of the sample 18 reactive of 5 alternatives and the unique response, obtaining a total of 18 points. Its validity was achieved through expert judgment and reliability through the Cronbach alpha assay. The results were tabulated and presented in tables of double entry, in numerical and percentage form, the information obtained was processed in the statistical program SPSS version 21. Results: 58% of family caregivers have a level of regular knowledge, predominating the female sex with 44%, 25% between 51-60 years of age and 25% with a high school diploma. 40% represent high level of knowledge, of which 29% is female, 12% with complete secondary and 16% between 51-60 years. Finally, the level of knowledge is low at 2%, 3% female between 30-40 years old, with 1% of primary and secondary education. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between the variables level of knowledge, sex and sociodemographic factors.es_PE
dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre medidas preventivas y factores socio demográficos en el familiar cuidador del paciente con enfermedad renal crónica Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray. Es de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo – transversal, teniendo un universo de 300 familiares cuidadores y una muestra de 73 individuos. El instrumento de recolección de datos constó de 2 partes, la primera respecto a datos generales del familiar cuidador y del paciente, la segunda parte presento 18 reactivos de 5 alternativas y de respuesta única, obteniendo un total de 18 puntos. Su validez se realizó mediante apreciación de expertos y la confiabilidad a través del test de alfa de Cronbach. Los resultados fueron tabulados y presentados en tablas de doble entrada, de forma numérica y porcentual, la información obtenida se procesó en el programa estadístico SPSS versión 21. Resultados: 58% de familiares cuidadores tienen un nivel de conocimiento regular, predominando el sexo femenino con el 44%, 25% entre los 51-60 años de edad y 25% con un grado de instrucción secundaria completa y superior. El 40% representa el nivel de conocimiento alto, de los cuales el 29% es el sexo femenino, 12% con secundaria completa y 16% entre 51-60 años. Finalmente se encuentra con un 2% el nivel de conocimiento bajo, 3% de sexo femenino de edad entre 30-40 años, con 1% de instrucción primaria y secundaria completa. Conclusiones: Existe relación significativa entre las variables nivel de conocimientos, sexo y factores sociodemográficos.es_PE
