Abstract
La presente investigación de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo correlacional de corte transversal, se realizó con adolescentes de una Institución educativa, con el objetivo de determinar la relación la violencia intrafamiliar y el nivel de autoestima. Los datos recolectados fueron procesados en programas estadísticos conforme a los objetivos propuestos en esta investigación y los resultados obtenidos presentados en tablas y gráficos, teniendo en cuenta la estadística descriptiva y porcentual y luego analizados y contrastados con la bibliografía respectiva, siendo los resultados: La Violencia Intrafamiliar se presenta en los adolescentes en estudio en un 67,53% con un nivel bajo, el 29,87% medio y solo el 2,60% alto. La Violencia Intrafamiliar Física en los adolescentes se presenta mayormente (93,51%) en un nivel bajo y el 6,49% medio; no existe nivel alto. La violencia intrafamiliar sexual de los adolescentes es el 92.2% nivel baja el 7.8% media, no se reporta nivel alto. El nivel de Autoestima de los adolescentes es 87,01% nivel alto y el 12,99% un nivel medio. La relación entre la violencia intrafamiliar psicológica, física y sexual es significativa al aplicar la prueba de correlación de Spearman (r= -0,138; r= -0,133; r= -0,081 respectivamente).
The present quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional correlational research was carried out with adolescents from an educational institution, with the objective of determining the relationship between domestic violence and the level of self-esteem. The collected data were processed in statistical programs in accordance with the objectives proposed in this research and the results obtained were presented in tables and graphs, taking into account the descriptive and percentage statistics and then analyzed and contrasted with the respective bibliography, the results being: Domestic Violence occurs in the adolescents under study in 67.53% with a low level, 29.87% medium and only 2.60% high. Physical Domestic Violence in adolescents occurs mostly (93.51%) at a low level and 6.49% at a medium level; there is no high level. Domestic sexual violence among adolescents is 92.2% low level 7.8% medium level, no high level is reported. The level of Self-esteem of adolescents is 87.01% high level and 12.99% medium level.
