dc.descriptionI present results on THE EFFECTS OF COASTAL EROSION ON THE SUPPLY AND DEMAND OF THE TOURIST SECTOR IN THE RIBERA OF HUANCHACO BEACH - 2017; Which are related to show the main changes in the behavior of both the supply and the tourism demand and as these have been adapted to the changing geograph-ical environment of the balneario that has been suffering for 40 years the ravages of erosion._x000D_ The one that is caused by the Molón of Salaverry that was constructed to the south and that has been retaining sand from its construction until the present day causing sedimentation to the south and erosion on the beaches of the north: Las Delicias, Buenos Aires, and Huanchaco._x000D_ This big problem has not found any solution up to today, but has inconclusive offers to stop its advance; Has caused that the demand of Huanchaco is directed to a sin-gle segment of "Backpackers" who have customs different from that of a common tourist reason why the hotels and restaurants have had to adapt to its behavior and to direct its promotional strategies to capture the greatest number of these travelers and generate profits. In addition to dealing with the problem of erosion that is devas-tating their well-being both in the physical and psychological environment with which they coexist.es_PE
dc.description.abstractPresento resultados sobre EFECTOS DE LA EROSIÓN COSTERA EN LA OFERTA Y DEMANDA DEL SECTOR TURÍSTICO EN LA RIBERA DEL BALNEARIO DE HUANCHACO – 2017; los cuales están referidos a mostrar los principales cambios en el comportamiento tanto de la oferta como la demanda turística y como estas han ido adaptándose al cambiante medio geográfico del balneario que viene sufriendo hace 40 años los estragos de la erosión._x000D_ La que es causada por el Molón de Salaverry que se construyó al sur y que ha ido reteniendo arena desde su construcción hasta el día de hoy provocando sedimentación al sur y erosión en las playas del norte: Las Delicias, Buenos Aires, y Huanchaco._x000D_ Este gran problema que hasta hoy no halla solución tiene ofertas inconclusas para detener su avance; y ha provocado que la demanda de Huanchaco se dirija a un solo segmento de “Mochileros” los cuales tienen costumbres diferentes a la de un turista común motivo por el cual los hoteles y restaurantes han tenido que adaptarse a su comportamiento y dirigir sus estrategias promocionales para captar el mayor número de estos viajeros y generar ganancias. Además de lidiar con el problema de la erosión que cada día va devastando su bienestar psicológico y a la vez el medio físico con el que conviven.es_PE
