dc.descriptionThis descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective aims to determine the consumption and cost of Cefepime through the Pharmacy Unit Dose of the Hospital Nacional Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo (HNAAA) during 2008 to assess the trend of consumption, as well as possible deviations in the year involving an irrational use of this medicine. The study population consisted of records of patients hospitalized in the HNAAA who were cared for by the Pharmacy Unit Dose from 01 of January 2008 to 31 of December 2008. Data were obtained from the System of Hospital Management and Statistical HNAAA it. Cefepime consumption was expressed in DDD/100 beds / Day obtained a value of 5.29, with the highest consumption of ICU service in December and the months of highest demand. The total cost of Cefepime was S /.372,683.67. During the year 2008 shows a trend curve with a variable bonus, not statistically significantes_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo descriptivo, transversal y retrospectivo tiene por objetivo determinar el consumo y costo del Cefepime a través de la dispensación de la Farmacia de Dosis Unitaria del Hospital Nacional Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo (H.N.A.A.A.) durante el año 2008, a fin de evaluar la tendencia de consumo, así como posibles desviaciones en el transcurso del año que supongan una utilización irracional de este medicamento. La población en estudio estuvo constituida por los registros de los pacientes hospitalizados en los servicios del H.N.A.A.A. que fueron atendidos por la Farmacia de Dosis Unitaria a partir del 01 de Enero del 2008 al 31 de Diciembre del 2008. Los datos se obtuvieron del Sistema de Gestión Hospitalaria del H.N.A.A.A y de Estadística del mismo. El consumo de Cefepime fue expresado en DDD/100 camas/día obteniendo un valor de 5.29, siendo el servicio de mayor consumo UCI y diciembre el mes de mayor demanda. El gasto total de Cefepime fue de S/. 372,683.67. Durante el año 2008 se presentó una curva de tendencia variable con un coeficiente positivo, no estadísticamente significativoes_ES
