Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación es un estudio descriptivo, de corte transversal y retrospectivo, cuyo objetivo general fue determinar el consumo de Cefazolina en el servicio de Obstetricia del Hospital Nacional Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo durante el 2008. La población muestral estuvo constituida por los Registros Informatizados de consumo de de Cefazolina en el servicio de Obstetricia del HNAAA-Essalud, atendidos a partir del 01 de Enero al 31 de Diciembre del 2008. Los datos de consumo y costo fueron extraídos de la base de datos del Sistema de gestión Hospitalaria del HNAAA. La prevalencia de pacientes tratados con Cefazolina fue de 44.76%. El mayor consumo mensual de Cefazolina expresado en unidades lo registró el mes de Marzo con 545 unidades atendidas. El consumo mensual promedio de Cefazolina, expresado en dosis diaria definida DDD/100 camas-día fue de 21.54 y no tuvo tendencia ni a la reducción ni tampoco al incremento y un coeficiente de correlación estadísticamente no significativo. El gasto anual de Cefazolina en el servicio de Obstetricia del HNAAA fue de S/. 8937.09 nuevos soles durante el año 2008.
Description
This research work is a descriptive study, cross-sectional and retrospective, whose overall objective was to determine the consumption of Cefazolin in the service Obstetrics of the National Hospital Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo-Essalud during 2008. The sample population was formed by the reporting of computerized records of consumption Cefazolin in the Obstetrics service HNAAA-Essalud, served from January 01 to 31 December, 2008. The consumption and cost data were extracted from the database of the Hospital Management System of HNAAA. The prevalence of patients treated with cefazolin was 44.76%. The highest monthly consumption of Cefazolin expressed in units as recorded in March with 545 units served. The average monthly consumption of Cefazolin, expressed in defined daily dose DDD/100 bed-days was 21.54 and had no trend and the reduction nor an increase and a correlation coefficient not statistically significant. The annual expenditure of Cefazolin in Obstetrics service HNAAA was S / 8937.09 new soles in 2008.
