Abstract
En la empresa ROGASAC, la falta de mantenimiento de vías ha causado demoras en el acarreo de mineral y deterioro de maquinaria, afectando la producción y generando costos adicionales. Por lo tanto, es crucial implementar un plan de mantenimiento y diseño de vías para mejorar la eficiencia y reducir gastos. Por ello se ha planteado tres objetivos específicos, en los cuales destacan:
- Evaluar el transporte de mineral antes de realizar la propuesta de mejora de vía.
- Evaluar cómo sería el transporte de mineral después de realizar la propuesta de
mejora de vía.
- Evaluar la optimización del transporte de mineral luego de la mejora de la vía.
Tener claro a donde queremos llegar nos ha llevado a concluir que el transporte de mineral durante diciembre de 2023 y de agosto a diciembre de 2023 para proponer mejoras en
las vías. La propuesta incluye especificaciones técnicas como carga del camión, presión sobre la superficie y espesores de las capas de la vía. Tras implementar las mejoras, se analizó el impacto en la productividad, revelando un aumento significativo en el número de viajes y el volumen de mineral transportado. Comparando agosto-diciembre de 2023 con enero-mayo de 2024, se observó una diferencia de 8,882 viajes y 148,617.5 m³ en volumen total, demostrando que el mantenimiento adecuado de las vías mejora significativamente la productividad.
At ROGASAC company, inadequate maintenance of routes has caused delays in mineral hauling and equipment deterioration, impacting production and generating additional costs. Therefore, implementing a maintenance and route design plan is crucial to improve efficiency and reduce unforeseen expenses. Three specific objectives have been established: • Evaluate mineral transportation before proposing route improvements. • Assess how mineral transportation would be after implementing route improvements. • Evaluate the optimization of mineral transportation following route improvements. Determining our goals led to the conclusion that analyzing mineral transportation from December 2023 and from August to December 2023 is necessary to propose route improvements. The proposal includes technical specifications such as truck load, surface pressure, and layer thicknesses of the route. After implementing improvements, the impact on productivity was analyzed, showing a significant increase in the number of trips and the volume of mineral transported. Comparing August-December 2023 with January-May 2024, there was a difference of 8,882 trips and 148,617.5 m³ in total volume, demonstrating that proper route maintenance significantly enhances productivity.
