dc.descriptionThe present of this research work was to determine in laboratory conditions the effect of four doses of Bacillus subtilis on the germination of the uredospores of Naohydemices vaccinni. The doses under study were 0.5 L of B. subtilis / 100 L of water (T1), 1 L of B. subtilis / 100 L of water (T2), 1.5 L of B. subtilis / 100 L of water (T3) and 2 L of B. subtilis / 100 L of water (T4) plus one control without the bacteria with 6 repetitions. The treatments were distributed in a completely randomized design, the experimental unit was constituted by a Petri dish in which 30 uredospores plus 5 ml of B.subtilis were placed according to the dose according to the treatments. The parameters evaluated were percentage of uredospore germination and growth in mm. of the germinative tube with the data of the evaluations, the analysis of variance and the Tukey test at 0.05% were performed. The dose of 2 L of B. subtilis / 100 L of water (T4) turned out to be the best treatment since it inhibited 65.73% of the germination of the uredospores of N. vaccinii and the germinative tube growth was 0.068 mm. say 50% less than the growth observed in the control treatment.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación tuvo por finalidad determinar en condiciones de laboratorio el efecto de cuatro dosis de Bacillus subtilis sobre la germinación de las uredosporas de Naohydemices vaccinni. Las dosis en estudio fueron 0.5 L de B. subtilis /100 L de agua (T1), 1 L de B. subtilis /100 L de agua (T2), 1.5 L de B. subtilis /100 L de agua (T3) y 2 L de B. subtilis /100 L de agua (T4) más un testigo sin la bacteria con 6 repeticiones. Los tratamientos se distribuyeron en un diseño completamente al azar, la unidad experimental estuvo constituida por una placa Petri en la cual se colocó 30 uredosporas más 5 ml de B.subtilis de acuerdo a la dosis según los tratamientos. Las variables evaluadas fueron porcentaje de germinación de las uredosporas y crecimiento en mm. del tubo germinativo. Con los datos de las evaluaciones se realizó el análisis de varianza y la prueba de Tukey al 0.05%. La dosis de 2 L de B. subtilis /100 L de agua (T4) resulto ser el mejor tratamiento puesto que inhibió el 65.73 % de la germinación de las uredosporas de N. vaccinii y el crecimiento del tubo germinativo fue de 0.068 mm, es decir el 50% menos que el crecimiento observado en el tratamiento testigo.es_PE
