Conocimiento y prácticas de medidas preventivas frente al síndrome de burnout en personal de salud en tiempos de covid 19

Abstract
El presente estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional, de corte transversal, cuyo
objetivo es determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y prácticas de medidas de
prevención que adopta el personal de salud frente al Síndrome de Burnout del Centro Médico
Santa María de los Ángeles en tiempos de Covid19. La población estuvo conformada por 30
profesionales de la salud, médicos, enfermeras y psicólogos que cumplieron los criterios de
inclusión. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos cuestionarios estructurados con
respuestas múltiples. Se creó una base de datos para el análisis descriptivo de los datos en tablas
estadísticas con frecuencias simples y porcentuales efectuadas con el programa estadístico SPSS
versión 23. Los resultados indican que el nivel de conocimiento es alto teniendo un 80% y un
20% un nivel de conocimiento medio. Las medidas preventivas del burnout fueron adecuadas
en un 76,7% e inadecuadas en un 23,3%. Se llegó a la siguiente conclusión: no existe relación
significativa entre el nivel de conocimientos y las prácticas en la prevención del síndrome de
burnout en el personal de salud del Centro Médico Santa María de los Ángeles.
The present study is quantitative, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional, the objective of which is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practices of prevention measures adopted by health personnel against Burnout Syndrome at the Santa María Medical Center in Los Angeles in times of Covid19. The population was made up of 30 health professionals, doctors, nurses and psychologists who met the inclusion criteria. Two structured questionnaires with multiple responses were used to collect data. A database was created for the descriptive analysis of the data in statistical tables with simple and percentage frequencies carried out with the statistical program SPSS version 23. The results indicate that the level of knowledge is high, with 80% and 20% having a of average knowledge. Burnout preventive measures were adequate in 76.7% and inadequate in 23.3%. The following conclusion was reached: there is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge and practices in the prevention of burnout syndrome in the health personnel of the Santa María de los Ángeles Medical Center.
