Abstract
Abstract The present research work proposes an AEDE focusing on its main objective, which was to determine if there is spatial autocorrelation of the frequency of DM cases by province of the patients attended at the HVLE EsSalud La Libertad in 2019. Evaluating the significance of the autocorrelation, where the Ho was that there is no spatial autocorrelation, in addition, the analysis was performed using the global indicator (MI) and the local indicator (LISA) of autocorrelation, in a sample population of 2185 cases of DM, obtaining as results the non-existence of spatial autocorrelation of the frequency of cases of DM by province of the patients attended at the HVLE EsSalud La Libertad in the year 2019 by means of the MI, as well as the presence of a spatial random pattern of low - low level in the province of Sanchez Carrion using the LISA index, concluding with the randomization test that DM cases by province were independent in the La Libertad region. In addition, these graphs show that there was a greater dispersion of frequency in the province of Trujillo, which means that localization measures should be taken to contain contagion so that a method of control can be carried out
