Abstract
La investigación busca establecer la relación entre la informalidad laboral y el desarrollo financiero en 13 países en vías de desarrollo durante el periodo 2012-2019, concluyendo que existe una correlación inversa significativa entre ambas variables, lo que implica que el acceso a servicios financieros puede contribuir a la disminución de la informalidad, generando importantes implicaciones para países con altos niveles de informalidad como el nuestro, y sugiere recomendaciones para abordar los obstáculos que frenan la formalización.
ABSTRACT The research seeks to establish the relationship between labor informality and financial development in 13 developing countries during the period 2012-2019, concluding that there is a significant inverse correlation between both variables, which implies that access to financial services can contribute to the decrease of informality, generating important implications for countries with high levels of informality such as ours, and suggests recommendations to address the obstacles that hold back formalization.
