dc.descriptionTo explain the rejection of HPV vaccination in girls aged 9-13 years with a multivariate model. MATERIAL AND METHOD: Analytical observational study with multivariate model. 170 guardians of girls between 9-13 years of age were studied by means of a virtual survey that contained the variables associated with the rejection of HPV vaccination. Bivariate analysis was developed to identify the associated variables and; subsequently, a logistic regression analysis to build the explanatory model. The validity of the model was estimated using the ABC-ROC. RESULTS: The factors that made up the model were: age of the child aged 9-11 years, insured family, professional who reported on the vaccine, knowledge about HPV, and vaccine safety concerns. CONCLUSION: There is an 85.2% probability of rejection of the HPV vaccination if the girl between 9 and 11 years old belongs to an uninsured family, her agent does not receive information about the vaccine from a professional, she does not have knowledge about HPV and you are concerned about the safety of the vaccine. If the factors that make up the model are controlled, it is highly probable that vaccine rejection will decrease.es_PE
dc.description.abstractExplicar el rechazo a la vacunación contra el VPH en niñas de 9-13 años con un modelo multivariado. MATERIAL Y MÉTODO: Estudio observacional analítico con modelo multivariado. Se estudió 170 apoderados de niñas de entre 9-13 años de edad mediante una encuesta virtual que contenía las variables asociadas al rechazo a la vacunación contra el VPH. Se desarrollo análisis bivariado para identificar las variables asociadas y; posteriormente, un análisis de regresión logística para construir el modelo explicativo. Se estimó la validez del modelo por medio del ABC-ROC. RESULTADOS: Los factores que conformaron el modelo eran: edad de la menor de 9-11 años, familia asegurada, profesional que informó sobre la vacuna, conocimiento sobre el VPH y preocupaciones de seguridad de la vacuna. CONCLUSIÓN: Existe un 85.2 % de probabilidad de rechazo a la vacunación contra el VPH si la niña tiene entre 9 y 11 años, pertenece a una familia no asegurada, su apoderado no recibe información sobre la vacuna por un profesional, no tiene conocimiento sobre el VPH y tiene preocupación sobre la seguridad de la vacuna. Si se controlan los factores integrantes del modelo, es muy probable de disminuir el rechazo a la vacuna.es_PE
