dc.descriptionThis thesis was carried out with the purpose to explain the influence of family abuse in the vulnerability of the adult biggest user of public charities of Guadalupe: 2015. It has been considered the type of applied research on the basis of an explanatory design, has been applied the methods and techniques of qualitative and quantitative research, and the sample consisted of 30 older adults users of public charities of Guadeloupe. Results has been able to demonstrate the existence of a high rate of family abuse generating emotional vulnerability of the elderly, which is reflected through the psychological abuse as the isolation and loneliness; as well as the abandonment of the family material deteriorating the health of these older adults. With this study from the perspective of social work we intend to provide information, to implement programs aimed at the families and institutions benefactors to search for resolve this social scourge of the elder abuse in their family environment and, in this way, the Public Charity of Our Lady of Guadalupe, achieve promote an excellent quality of life through a process of healthy aging and happy.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLa presente tesis se realizó con la finalidad de explicar la influencia del maltrato familiar en la vulnerabilidad del adulto mayor usuario de la Beneficencia Pública de Guadalupe: 2015. Se ha considerado el tipo de investigación aplicada, teniendo como base un diseño explicativo, se ha aplicado los métodos y técnicas de la investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa y, la muestra constó de 30 adultos mayores usuarios de la Beneficencia Pública de Guadalupe. De los resultados obtenidos se ha podido demostrar la existencia de un alto índice de maltrato familiar generando vulnerabilidad afectiva del adulto mayor, situación que se traduce mediante el maltrato psicológico como el aislamiento y soledad; así como el abandono material de la familia deteriorando la salud de estos adultos mayores. Con este estudio desde la perspectiva de trabajo social nos proponemos brindar información, para implementar programas dirigidos a los familiares e instituciones benefactores para buscar solucionar este flagelo social del maltrato al adulto mayor en su entorno familiar y de esta manera la Beneficencia Pública de Guadalupe, logre fomentar una excelente calidad de vida mediante un proceso de envejecimiento saludable y feliz.es_ES
