| dc.description | This research study quantitative, descriptive, correlational cross-sectional was held in the district of Víctor Larco Herrera, Trujillo Province, La Libertad Department, during the months of February and March 2011, whit the aim to determine the relationship between family and self-esteem in climacteric women. The sample consisted of 126 menopausal women, selected according to inclusion criteria. Data collection was obtained by applying 2-denominated instruments: Test of Family Functioning - SIL and Self-Esteem Test - 25. The results were statistically processed and presented in graphs and statistical tables of single and double entry. For the statistical analysis and to measure the relationship between the variable test was used for independence criteria Chi square (x2) and the correlation coefficient r of Pearson. The results show that 58,7 percent of menopausal women has a good level of family functioning and 27,8 percent have a tendency to high self-esteem, finding that there is a correlation between both variables, which means a better performance more familiar self-esteem in menopausal women | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de investigación de tipo cuantitativa, descriptiva, correlacional de corte transversal, se realizó en el distrito de Víctor Larco Herrera, provincia Trujillo, Departamento de la Libertad, durante los meses de Febrero y Marzo del 2011, con la finalidad de determinar la relación entre funcionamiento familiar y autoestima en la mujer climatérica. La muestra estuvo constituida por 126 mujeres climatéricas, seleccionados según criterios de inclusión establecidos. La recolección de datos, se obtuvo mediante la aplicación de 2 instrumentos denominados: Test de Funcionamiento Familiar – SIL y Prueba de Autoestima – 25. Los resultados obtenidos se procesaron estadísticamente y se presentan en tablas de simple y doble entrada. Para el análisis estadístico y para medir la relación entre las variable se empleó la prueba de independencia de criterios Chi cuadrado (x2) y el coeficiente de correlación r de Pearson. Los resultados muestran que el 58,7 por ciento de las mujeres climatéricas presenta un nivel de funcionamiento familiar bueno y el 27,8 por ciento tiene tendencia a una autoestima alta, encontrándose que existe una correlación positiva media entre ambas variables, lo que significa que a mejor funcionamiento familiar mayor autoestima en las mujeres climatéricas. | es_PE |
