dc.descriptionThe present investigation was carried out in the National University of Trujillo, with the objective of determining the effect of the use of "meat meal" in the production of broiler chickens, 80 day old chicks of the Cobb line were used. 500, where each bird is an experimental unit, the same ones that were distributed according to the treatments. The Completely Randomized Design (DCA) was used with a total number of four treatments: T0 (Witness: 0% meat meal), T1 (2% meat meal), T2 (4% meat meal), T3 (6% meat meal,) and 20 repetitions. Meat meal was included in the food in different amounts, respectively, in all treatments. the initial weight, feed consumption, final weight was recorded and the variables were evaluated as weight gain, feed conversion, mortality, economic merit. The results show that, in initial weights at 21 days, no statistical differences were found, the best weekly food consumption was obtained by the T1 treatment (4.46 kg); the highest final weights were obtained by T1 (2.62 kg), the evaluation of weight gain until day 42, showed that the highest weight gain was for chickens corresponding to T1 with 2.46 kg; The treatment that obtained the best food conversion was the T1 with 1.70, which presented a 0% mortality during the whole aging period. Regarding the economic merit, the most efficient was the T1 with 37.90%. Concluding that, the optimal level of inclusion of meat meal in broilers of the Cobb 500 line, should be, at most, 2%, to obtain adequate productive indexes.es_PE
dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se realizó en la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, con el objetivo de determinar el efecto de la utilización de “harina de carne” en la producción de pollos de engorde, se utilizaron 80 pollos de un día de edad de la línea Cobb-500, donde cada ave es una unidad experimental, las mismas que fueron distribuidas de acuerdo a los tratamientos. Se utilizó el Diseño Completamente al Azar (DCA) con un número total de cuatro tratamientos: T0 (Testigo: 0% de harina de carne), T1 (2% de harina de carne), T2 (4% de harina de carne), T3 (6% de harina de carne,) y 20 repeticiones. La harina de carne fue incluida en el alimento en distintas cantidades respectivamente, en todos los tratamientos. se registró el peso inicial, consumo de alimento, peso final y se evaluó las variables como ganancia de peso, conversión alimenticia, mortalidad, merito económico. Los resultados muestran que, en pesos iniciales a los 21 días, no se encontraron diferencias estadísticas, el mejor consumo de alimento semanal lo obtuvo el tratamiento T1 (4,46 kg); los mayores pesos finales fueron obtenidos por el T1 (2,62 kg), la evaluación de ganancia de peso hasta el día 42, demostró que la mayor ganancia de peso fue para los pollos correspondientes al T1 con 2,46 kg; el tratamiento que obtuvo la mejor conversión alimenticia fue el T1 con 1,70, el cual presentó un 0% de mortalidad durante toda la crianza. Respecto al mérito económico, el más eficiente fue el T1 con el 37.90%. Concluyendo que, el nivel óptimo de la inclusión de harina de carne en pollos de engorde de la línea Cobb 500, debe ser, como máximo, el 2 %, para obtener índices productivos adecuados.es_PE
