dc.descriptionThe research had as a problem what are the maternal and neonatal risk factors associated with neonatal mortality at Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2015, with the objective of determining the maternal and neonatal risk factors associated with neonatal mortality. To do this, we worked with a probabilistic sample of 163 clinical histories of neonates up to 29 days of birth, for the processing of the data was used the statistical program SPSS STATISTICAL Ver 23, through association measures and logistic regression analysis . The following conclusions were obtained: Neonatal mortality was 9.8% of newborns. 90.8% of mothers are older than or equal to 20 years; 85.9% are married and / or cohabiting; 76.1% of mothers have education; 66.9% of mothers are Catholic; 60.7% of mothers have more or equal to 2 children; 62.0% of mothers their intergenetic period between the previous and current pregnancy is less than 2 years; 76.1% of mothers did not present any disease in pregnancy; 66.9% of newborns weighed more than or equal to 2,500 g of weight; 65.6% of infants had a gestational age greater than or equal to 37 weeks; 85.9% of infants had an apgar between 4 and 10 points; And 69.9% of newborns did not present any pathology. The risk factors were: the mother's age of the newborn (less than or equal to 19 years), the mother's education level (without instruction), the presence of a disease during the mother's pregnancy (if present), weight (Less than 2500 g), gestational age of the newborn (less than 37 weeks of gestation), and apgar score of the newborn (between 4 and 10 points)es_PE
dc.description.abstractLa investigación tuvo como problema ¿Cuáles son los factores de riesgo maternos, y del neonato asociados a la mortalidad neonatal en Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2015?, con el objetivo de determinar los factores de riesgo maternos, y del neonato asociados a la mortalidad neonatal. Para ello se trabajó con una muestra probabilística de 163 historias clínicas de neonatos hasta de los 29 días de nacidos, para el procesamiento de los datos se utilizó el programa estadístico SPSS STATISTICAL Ver 23, a través de medidas de asociación y del análisis de regresión logística. Se obtuvo las siguientes conclusiones: La mortalidad neonatal fue del 9.8% de recién nacidos. El 90.8% de las madres son mayores o iguales a 20 años; el 85.9% son casadas y/o convivientes; el 76.1% de madres tienen instrucción; el 66.9% de madres son católicas; el 60.7% de madres tienen más o igual a 2 hijos; el 62.0% de madres su periodo intergenesico entre el embarazo anterior y actual es de menos de 2 años; el 76.1% de madres no presento alguna enfermedad en el embarazo; el 66.9% de recién nacidos pesaron más o igual a 2500 gr de peso; el 65.6% de recién nacidos su edad gestacional fue más o igual a 37 semanas; el 85.9% de recién nacidos tuvieron un apgar entre 4 a 10 puntos; y el 69.9% de recién nacidos no presento patología alguna. Los factores de riesgo fueron, la edad de la madre del recién nacido (menor o igual a 19 años), grado de instrucción de la madre (sin instrucción), presento alguna enfermedad durante el embarazo la madre (si presento), el peso del recién nacido (menor a 2500 gr), edad gestacional del recién nacido (menor a 37 semanas de gestación), y puntuación de apgar del recién nacido (entre 4 a 10 puntos)es_PE
