| dc.description | Descriptive qualitative research whose object of study is the family care received by the elderly in confinement due to a Pandemic situation - COVID 19, carried out in the Alto Trujillo Population Center, El Porvenir district (Trujillo, Peru) and with the participation of five families. caregivers of older adults belonging to the Association of Older Adults of Alto Trujillo, the same ones that were selected by the criterion of data saturation. These data were collected through in-depth interviews, and then analyzed and processed using the oral discourse analysis method, taking into account the ethical and scientific rigor criteria that support the research; identifying two empirical categories: Caring for the autonomy of the elderly and (Dis) Protection of family ties of the AM. The findings revealed how the loss - conservation and formation of new habits in the daily life of the elderly, as a consequence of confinement, restricted their autonomy, making them more vulnerable and dependent on care; the way in which family and social ties were severed, and how strategies were implemented to rescue them, in order to improve the quality of life of the elderly. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | Investigación cualitativa descriptiva cuyo objeto de estudio es el cuidado familiar que recibe el adulto mayor en confinamiento por situación de Pandemia – COVID 19, realizada en el Centro Poblado de Alto Trujillo, distrito El Porvenir (Trujillo, Perú) y con la participación de cinco familias cuidadoras de adultos mayores pertenecientes a la Asociación de Adultos Mayores de Alto Trujillo, las mismas que fueron seleccionadas por el criterio de saturación de los datos. Estos datos, fueron recolectados por medio de la entrevista a profundidad, para luego ser analizados y procesados mediante el método de análisis de discurso oral, teniendo en consideración los criterios éticos y de rigor científico que amparan la investigación; identificando dos categorías empíricas: Cuidado de la autonomía del adulto mayor y (Des) Protección de los vínculos familiares del AM. Los hallazgos revelaron cómo la pérdida – conservación y formación de nuevos hábitos en el cotidiano del adulto mayor, como consecuencia del confinamiento, restringió su autonomía, haciéndolos más vulnerables y dependientes de cuidado; la forma en que se cortaron vínculos familiares y sociales, y como se implementaron estrategias para el rescate de éstos, con el fin de mejorar la calidad de vida del adulto mayor. | es_PE |
