dc.descriptionThe present investigation was carried out in the district of La Esperanza, Province of Trujillo, Department of La Libertad, with the objective of evaluating the effect of DDGS on the productive behavior of guinea pigs in the east. 75 guinea pigs will be selected, between 14 ± days of age with weights that varied between 200 and 400 grams and under a randomized design were distributed in 3 treatments, T0: control, T1 and T2 experimental groups to which 5% was added and 10% of DDGS respectively, being evaluated for 8 weeks. The total weight gain of guinea pigs does show statistical difference (p <0.05) in favor of T0. Total food consumption did not register statistical difference (p> 0.05), but there was a higher consumption in guinea pigs of T2 (10% of DDGS). Regarding the food conversion, if there was a significant difference (p <0.05), the control treatment showed the best food conversion. For mortality and morbidity no statistical difference was evidenced (p > 0.05). Regarding the benefit / cost, the T1 showed greater economic gain. It is concluded that the addition of DDGS in the diet of guinea pigs had no significant effect on productive behavior, but there was an improvement in the Benefit / costes_PE
dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se llevó a cabo en el distrito de La Esperanza, Provincia de Trujillo, Departamento de La Libertad, con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de DDGS en el comportamiento productivo de cuyes en levante. Se seleccionarán 75 cuyes, entre 14 ± días de edad con pesos que variaron entre 200 y 400 gramos y bajo un diseño Completo al azar se distribuyeron en 3 tratamientos, T0: control, T1 y T2 grupos experimentales a los cuales se adicionó 5% y 10 % de DDGS respectivamente, evaluándose durante 8 semanas. La ganancia de peso total de los cuyes si evidencia diferencia estadística (p < 0,05) a favor del T0. El consumo de alimento total no registro diferencia estadística (p > 0.05), pero hubo un mayor consumo en los cuyes del T2 (10% de DDGS). Con respecto a la conversión alimenticia si hubo diferencia significativa (p < 0,05) siendo el tratamiento control el que mostró mejor conversión alimenticia. Para mortalidad y la morbilidad no se evidenció diferencia estadística (p > 0,05). Respecto al beneficio / costo, el T1 mostro mayor ganancia económica. Se concluye que la adición de DDGS en la dieta de los cuyes no tuvo efecto significativo en el comportamiento productivo, pero si hubo una mejora el Beneficio/costo.es_PE
