dc.descriptionThis report of pre-professional practices was as objective to determine the consumption of reserve antibacterials in the Intensive care unit (ICU) in a Hospital level 4- Lambayeque, january - december 2017. The reserve antibacterials studied were 4: ertapenem, colistin, linezolid and tigecycline were the most used antibacterials and consumed by the ICU service. The ICU service has a total of 10 hospital beds, and the methodology to cover the consumption is with the N° DDD/100 bed-days. In the results it is observed the values of DDD/100bed-day between 0.16 to 4.84. According to the correlation coefficient, the 50 mg tigecycline consumption trend is positive, however, it has no statistical significance (p=0,1904). The monthly cost values are observed between S/ 217 and S/ 8945.64 and for the annual cost between S/ 16437.07 and S/ 48252. It is concluded that tigecycline 50 mg is the antibacterial reserve of more consumption with 4.84 DDD/100 bed-day, and the highest monthly and annual consumption with S/ 8945.64 and S/ 48252.24 respectively in the ICU in the months of january-december 2017.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente informe de prácticas pre-profesionales tuvo como objetivo determinar el consumo de antibacterianos de reserva en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) de un Hospital de Nivel IV- Lambayeque, enero-diciembre 2017. Los antibacterianos de reserva que se estudiaron fueron 4: ertapenem, colistina linezolid y tigeciclina. La UCI cuenta con un total de 10 camas de hospitalización, y la metodología para cubrir el consumo es con el N° DDD/100 cama-día. En los resultados se observa los valores de DDD/100 cama-día entre 0,16 a 4,84. De acuerdo al coeficiente de correlación, la tendencia del consumo de tigeciclina 50 mg es positiva, sin embargo, no tiene significancia estadística (p=0,1904). Los valores de costo mensual se observa entre S/ 217 y S/ 8945,64 y para el costo anual entre S/ 16437,07 y S/ 48252. Se concluye que la tigeciclina 50 mg es el antibacteriano de reserva de mayor consumo con 4,84 DDD/100 cama-día, y el de mayor consumo mensual y anual con S/ 8945,64 y S/ 48252,24 respectivamente en la UCI en los meses de enero-diciembre 2017es_PE
