dc.descriptionThe purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between the real price of copper and the real exchange rate of the Peruvian economy in the period 1991-2018, to compare this relationship, data obtained from the Central Reserve Bank of Peru are used, In order to determine the relationship between the study variables, the error correction vector model (VEC) is used, a technique that is characterized by finding the long-term equilibrium relationship, in the study it is found that the actual price Copper and the real exchange rate of the Peruvian economy during the years 1991-2018, have an inverse relationship which in turn is related to previous research done in other places and times.es_PE
dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tiene como objetivo general determinar la relación existente entre el precio real del cobre y el tipo de cambio real de la economía peruana en el período 1991 – 2018, para contrastar dicha relación se usan datos obtenidos del Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, para poder determinar la relación existente entre las variables de estudio, se utiliza el modelo de vector de corrección de error (VEC), técnica que se caracteriza por encontrar la relación de equilibrio en el largo plazo, en el estudio se halla que el precio real del cobre y el tipo de cambio real de la economía peruana para el periodo 1991- 2018, guardan una relación inversa la cual a su vez guarda relación con investigaciones anteriores hechas en otros lugares y tiempos.es_PE
