dc.descriptionThe present work study the effect that causes the variation of the percentage of recovery on the content of silica in the permeate (product) and in the rejection (sub product) of reverse osmosis. The variables of study on the variation of the percentage of recovery are: the content of silica in the Permeate and the content of silica in the Rejection of Reverse Osmosis. For the managing of these parameters, there was in use an equipment of Reverse Osmosis which nominal capacity is of 60 m3/h, this equipment has 60 membranes, take-off for variator and automation with PLC. The obtained results show that the increase of the percentage of recovery reduces the content of silica in the Permeate and increases the content of silica in the Rejection. The Permeate, with low content of silica, will be used as feed water at a boiler of high pressure in the generation of steam for turbines.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo estudia el efecto que causa la variación del porcentaje de recuperación sobre el contenido de sílice en el permeado (producto) y en el rechazo (subproducto) de ósmosis inversa. Las variables de estudio sobre la variación del porcentaje de recuperación son: el contenido de sílice en el Permeado y el contenido de sílice en el rechazo de Ósmosis Inversa. Para el manejo de estos parámetros, se utilizó un equipo de Ósmosis Inversa cuya capacidad nominal es de 60 m3/h, este equipo cuenta con 60 membranas, arranque por variador y automatismo con PLC. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el incremento del porcentaje de recuperación disminuye el contenido de sílice en el Permeado e incrementa el contenido de sílice en el Rechazo. El Permeado, con bajo contenido de sílice, será utilizado como agua de alimentación en una caldera de alta presión en la generación de vapor para turbinas.es_ES
