Abstract
El propósito de la presente tesis fue aplicar estrategias lúdicas para mejorar el rendimiento académico en el área de inglés de los estudiantes 5° secundaria I.E. San Juan – Trujillo. Entre los objetivos planteados, considero: Identificar el nivel del rendimiento académico, diseñar y aplicar las estrategias lúdicas y evaluar el nivel de efectividad de dichas de estrategias para mejorar el rendimiento académico de los alumnos del quinto año de secundaria. La metodología utilizada fue cuantitativa, con un diseño pre - experimental. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por los alumnos de quinto año de educación secundaria siendo la muestra 35 estudiantes del quinto año, y para la recolección de la información se utilizó como instrumento una evaluación, la cual se componían de ítems que permitieron medir con detalle la influencia de la variable independiente. Al tabular los datos se pudo contrastar que la hipótesis de trabajo, se cumple, es decir que la aplicación de las estrategias lúdicas mejora el rendimiento en los estudiantes 5° Secundaria I.E. San Juan – Trujillo, 2018, como lo demuestran los resultados del pre y post test por lo tanto se valida la propuesta.
The purpose of this thesis was to apply ludic strategies in order to improve the academic performance in the English area of 5th year high school students at I.E. San Juan - Trujillo. Among the objectives I consider: To identify the level of academic performance, design, to apply the ludic strategies and to evaluate the level of effectiveness when applying ludic strategies to improve the academic performance of the fifth year high school students. The methodology applied was quantitative, with a pre-experimental design. The study population was composed by the students of the fifth year of secondary education being the sample composed by 35 students of the fifth year, an evaluation was used as an instrument for the collection of information, which was composed by items that allowed to measure in detail the influence of the independent variable. By tabulating the data it was possible to contrast that the working hypothesis, is fulfilled, this means that the application of ludic strategies improves performance in students 5th Secondary students I.E. San Juan - Trujillo, 2018, as shown by the results of the pre and post tests therefore the proposal is validated.
