Consumo de interferón beta 1b (Betaferon) en el servicio de Neurología del hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray durante el periodo abril – setiembre 2019.

Abstract
El presente informe de prácticas pre-profesionales, es un estudio descriptivo, de corte transversal y retrospectivo, el cual tuvo como objetivo determinar el consumo de interferón beta 1b (Betaferon) dispensados en el servicio de Neurología del hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray durante el periodo abril – setiembre 2019. El método utilizado consistió en tomar información de la base de datos del sistema de gestión hospitalaria, se seleccionaron todos los interferones beta 1b (Betaferon) dispensadas en el hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray en el periodo abril – setiembre 2019, para luego ser procesados en el programa de Microsoft Excel 2016. Los resultados fueron: en los meses en estudio se evidencio un mayor consumo de interferones por parte de los varones con un 52.8% mientras que en las mujeres el porcentaje fue de 47.2%. En cuanto al mayor porcentaje de consumo de este medicamento según la edad, se evidencio que el porcentaje mayor fue en los adultos (30-59) con un porcentaje de 60.3%, en adolescentes no se encontró casos y en el caso de jóvenes y adulto mayor el porcentaje fue de 12.9% y 26.8% respectivamente. En cuanto al consumo con mayor frecuencia según el mes, se observó que el mes de agosto fue de mayor consumo con un 20.6% y el menor consumo fue para el mes de setiembre con un 12.9%. Por último, se escatimo el gasto mensual y total durante los 6 meses en estudio, para lo cual el gasto fue de s/. 15997.17; s/. 16938.18; s/. 23211.58; s/. 21643.23; s/. 24152.59 y s/. 15056.16 del mes de abril a setiembre respectivamente, sumando un total de s/. 116998.91 como gasto total.
