| dc.description | The present investigation is of a descriptive cross-sectional type, its objective was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about prevention of breast cáncer, with the practice of breast self-examination, in nursing students, the sample consisted of 115 students nursing staff, who met the inclusion criteria to whom a survey containing items was applied to assess the level of knowledge in breast cancer prevention and the practice performed, having obtained that the level of knowledge about breast cancer prevention was in a higher percentage (75.7 percent) regular and 22.6 percent good, on the practice of breast self-examination the majority (54.8 percent) practice this procedure and 45.2 percent do not. Regarding the relationship between the level of knowledge of breast cancer prevention with the practice of breast self-examination, it is highly significant when applying the Chi-square test (X2 = 15.404, p = 0.00). | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación es de tipo descriptivo de corte transversal, tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre prevención de cáncer de mamas con la práctica de autoexamen de mamas, en estudiantes de Enfermería, la muestra estuvo conformada por 115 estudiantes de enfermería, que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta que contenia ítems para evaluar el nivel de conocimiento en prevención de cáncer de mamas y práctica realizada, habiendo obtenido que el nivel de conocimiento sobre prevención de cáncer de mama fue en mayor porcentaje (75.7 por ciento )regular y el 22.6 por ciento bueno, sobre la práctica de autoexamen de mama la mayoría (54.8 por ciento) si practica este procedimiento y el 45.2 por ciento no lo hace. Sobre la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de la prevención de cáncer de mamas con la práctica de autoexamen de mamas, es altamenate significativa al aplicar la prueba de Chi cuadrado (X2 =15.404, p=0.00) | es_PE |
