| dc.description | This phenomenological qualitative research had as its object the feeling of the mother with preterm infants hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Participants were eight mothers whose ages ranged from 20 to 35 years with children hospitalized in the Neonatology Service of Belen Hospital in Trujillo with a minimum of 7 days of hospitalization, data were obtained through interviews and participant observation based on the guiding question: What do you feel as a mother of the newborn premature hospital on this Neonatal Intensive Care Unit? The categories obtained from the study include: Sadness, Grief, faith in God, hope, suffering, helplessness, strength, fear, love, joy, economic concern, dissatisfaction with nursing care, loneliness, depression, frustration and guilt. Determining the following conceptual approaches: Grieving the child's condition real dilemma between life and death, negative perception of nursing care, spirituality and setting new expectations for the real child. This experience of the mothers interviewed revealed the phenomenon: "Show me and destroys the soul" ... Annie's being a mother. The findings suggest that nursing should place greater emphasis on guidance and counseling to these mothers, and implement training programs in service about home care for these children. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación cualitativo fenomenológico tuvo como objeto el sentir de la madre con recién nacidos prematuros hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales. Participaron ocho madres cuyas edades oscilaron entre 20 a 35 años con hijos hospitalizados en el Servicio de Neonatología del Hospital Belén de Trujillo con un periodo mínimo de 7 días de hospitalización, los datos se obtuvieron a través de la entrevista y la observación participante en base a la pregunta orientadora: ¿Qué siente Ud., como madre del recién nacido(a) prematuro(a) hospitalizado(a) en ésta Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales? Las categorías obtenidas del estudio incluyen: Tristeza –Pena, fe a Dios, esperanza, sufrimiento, impotencia, fortaleza, miedo, amor, alegría, preocupación económica, insatisfacción por el cuidado de enfermería, soledad-depresión, frustración y culpa. Determinándose las siguientes aproximaciones conceptuales: Duelo por la condición del hijo real, dilema entre vida-muerte, percepción negativa por el cuidado de enfermería, espiritualidad y ajuste de nuevas expectativas ante el hijo real. Esta experiencia de las madres entrevistadas develó el fenómeno: “Verlo así me destroza el alma”…Prueba de amor de ser madre. Los hallazgos sugieren que Enfermería debe dar mayor énfasis al acompañamiento y consejería a estas madres, así como implementar programas de capacitación en servicio acerca del cuidado en el hogar con estos niños. | es_PE |
