| dc.description | This research study is a descriptive correlational and cross-sectional, was conducted in the Educational Institution Victor Raul Haya de la Torre - District Victor Larco - 2013, in order to determine the relationship between the level of family functioning and the self-esteem and assertiveness in adolescents. The sample consisted of 60 adolescents in third, fourth and fifth grade, who have applied the tools of "Scale to assess family functioning" (EVFF), “Inventory to measure Coopersmith self-esteem" (EAC) and “assertiveness assessment Scale" (EEA). The information obtained was processed and analyzed using the SPSS statistical software support version 17 and presented in tables and statistics of double entry, to determine the relationship between the variables using the statistical test Chi - square, reaching the conclusion that 16,7 percent of adolescents had a high level of family functioning, 58,3 percent intermediate and 25 percent, a low, 30 percent of adolescents had higher self-esteem level, 55 percent , medium level and 15 percent low, and 20 percent of adolescents had a high level of assertiveness, 55 percent medium levels and 25 percent low. There is a statistically significant relationship between the level of family functioning and self-esteem, and there is not a statistically significant relationship between the level of family functioning and assertiveness. When family functioning levels are high, levels of self-esteem and assertiveness increased. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de investigación de tipo descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal, se realizó en la Institución Educativa Víctor Raúl Haya de La Torre - Distrito Víctor Larco - 2013, con el propósito de determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de funcionamiento familiar y el nivel de autoestima y asertividad en adolescentes. La muestra estuvo constituida por 60 adolescentes de tercero, cuarto y quinto año de secundaria, a quienes se les aplico los instrumentos de “Escala para valorar el funcionamiento familiar” (EVFF), “Inventario para medir nivel de autoestima de Coopersmith” (EAC) y “Escala de evaluación de asertividad” (EEA). La información obtenida fue procesada y analizada mediante el soporte del software estadístico SPSS versión 17 y presentados en tablas estadísticas de una y doble entrada, Para determinar la relación entre las variables se utilizó la prueba estadística Chi – cuadrado, llegando a las conclusiones que el 16,7 por ciento de adolescentes presentaron un nivel alto de funcionamiento familiar, el 58,3 por ciento, nivel medio y el 25 por ciento, un nivel bajo; el 30 por ciento de adolescentes presentaron un nivel de autoestima alto, el 55 por ciento, nivel medio y el 15 por ciento, nivel bajo, y el 20 por ciento, de adolescentes presentaron un nivel alto de asertividad, el 55 por ciento, tienen nivel medio y un 25 por ciento, nivel bajo. Existe una relación estadística significativa entre el nivel de funcionamiento familiar y el nivel de autoestima; y No existe una relación estadística significativa entre el nivel de funcionamiento familiar y de asertividad.
