Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación ha tenido como propósito describir y analizar las bases teóricas y metodológicas que utilizan las enfermeras docentes al enseñar el cuidar/cuidado de enfermería al Adulto Mayor en la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo- Perú. Se ha construido y organizado una fundamentación teórica filosófica para posibilitar un modelo teórico-práctico del aprendizaje del cuidar-cuidado a la persona mayor a partir de los saberes y experiencias del cotidiano de las enfermeras docentes y de las experiencias en el proceso de aprendizaje de las estudiantes de enfermería al cuidar – cuidado a personas mayores.El referencial teórico esta basado en los autores, Demo (2004, 2005), Boff (1999) y Waldow (1998), que nos permitieron analizar los conceptos del aprendizaje del cuidar/cuidado de enfermería El método de investigación utilizado es el cualitativo en su modalidad exploratorio descriptivo buscando captar el fenómeno a través de los significados que adquiere lo cotidiano de las relaciones docente-estudiante en el proceso de enseñanza del cuidar/cuidado a la persona mayor. Los participantes fueron docentes de enfermería responsables de enseñar a cuidar – cuidado al adulto mayor y la estudiante de enfermería que aprende a cuidar a persona mayor. La recolección de datos se ha realizado a través de la entrevista semiestructurada y los resultados se han organizado en categorías y subcategorías: 1) Bases teóricas del aprendizaje del cuidar-cuidado a las personas mayores: aprendiendo a cuidar- cuidando, reconociendo saberes para cuidar, c) articulando la ética en el aprendizaje del cuidar 2) Estrategias pedagógicas del aprendizaje a)aprendizaje participativo, b)maneras de enseñar –maneras de aprender; c) descubriendo nuevos espacios de práctica, las mismas que permiten develar las vivencias del proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje al cuidar al adulto mayor y que contribuye a la construcción del concepto de cuidar-cuidado a la persona mayor.

This a purpose research had as to describe and analyze the theoretical and methodological foundations used by nursing lecturers when of teaching how to take care of old adults in the National University of Trujillo-Peru. We tried to build and organize a theoretical and philosophical basis to make possible a theoretical and practical model for the teaching and learning process of caring an old adult considering experiences and knowledge got by nursing lecturers and students. The theoretical aspects were based on Demo (2004, 2005), Boff (1999) and Waldow (1998) works, who allowed us to analyze the concepts of learning how to care of the old adult. The research method used was the qualitative one, in a descriptive exploratory way. It tried to perceive the phenomenon acquired during the daily teacher-student interaction at the teaching process of caring the old adult. The participants were nursing teachers who have the responsibility of teaching and the students who learn how to take care of the old adult. The data collection was elaborated through the semi-structured interview and the results were organized in the following thematic units:1)Bases theoretical:a) learning how to take care of the old adult, b) considering the knowledge to take care of the old adult and,c)articulating the ethics in the learning process of caring the old adult.2)bases Pedaggicas:a) Participate learning b)model leraning-teaching c) discovering new practical space. All of them allow us unveil the experiences in the teaching and learning process of caring the old adult which contribute to the construction of the concept of taking care of the old person.
