dc.descriptionThe objective of the present study is to determine the demographic, sociocultural and educational factors associated with the sexual and reproductive practices of the students of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in the month of October 2016. A cross-sectional cohort study was carried out. The sample consisted of 194 students from the 5 cycles of each of the schools that make up this Faculty. To measure the factors associated with sexual and reproductive practices, a survey was applied and selected, which was made up of 3 sections: sociodemographic, educational and behavioral section, which was made up of the most relevant aspects in these subjects. We used the method of Binary Logistic Regression and statistical software IBM SPSS STATISTIC version 24 with which we proceeded to the elimination of the variables that did not present significance with our response variable, where we found that only the gender and the level of Knowledge associated with the sexual and reproductive practices of the students of the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Mathematics in the month of October 2016es_PE
dc.description.abstractEl objetivo del presente estudio es determinar los factores demográficos, socioculturales y educativos asociados a las prácticas sexuales y reproductivas de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas en el mes de Octubre 2016. Se realizó un estudio correlacional, de cohorte transversal. La muestra estuvo constituida por 194 estudiantes de los 5 ciclos de cada una de las escuelas que conforman está Facultad. Para medir los factores asociados a las prácticas sexuales y reproductivas, se aplicó y seleccionó una encuesta que estuvo conformada por 3 secciones: sección sociodemográfica, educativa y conductual conformada por los aspectos más relevantes en cuanto a estos temas. Se utilizó el método de Regresión Logística Binaria y software estadístico IBM SPSS STATISTICS versión 24 con el cual se procedió a la eliminación de las variables que no presentaron significancia con nuestra variable respuesta, donde nos dio como resultado que solo quedó el género y el nivel de conocimiento asociados a las prácticas sexuales y reproductivas de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas en el mes de Octubre 2016es_PE
