Abstract
El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar la incidencia de infecciones del tracto urinario en gestantes atendidas en el Hospital ¨José Hernán Soto Cadenillas¨ Chota durante el año 2022. El estudio se realizó en 112 gestantes, aplicando los criterios de inclusión, los datos recolectados fueron analizados en el programa de Microsoft Excel para su procesamiento a través de cuadros de frecuencia. En lo que respecta a la edad, el 39,6% de las gestantes pertenece al grupo etario de 23 a 27 años. En cuanto a la ocupación, el 92,5% se desempeñan como ama de casa. Respecto a la procedencia, el 81,1% proviene de áreas urbanas. En relación con el número de gestaciones, el 52,8% son multigesta, y el 69,8% se encontraba en el tercer trimestre de gestación. Escherichia coli y Staphylococcus saprophyticus fueron identificados como los agentes causantes más comunes de estas infecciones. La incidencia de las infecciones del tracto urinario en gestantes atendidas en el Hospital José Soto Cadenillas Chota durante el año 2022 fue de 43.7%.
The objective of this research is to determine the incidence of urinary tract infections in pregnant women treated at the ¨José Hernán Soto Cadenillas¨ Chota Hospital during 2022. The study was carried out on 112 pregnant women, applying the inclusion criteria, the collected data were analyzed in the Microsoft Excel program for processing through frequency tables.
