dc.descriptionIn this research an assessment of the economic impact that an increase in the activities currently being developed in the Port Terminal of Salaverry has generated in the economy of La Libertad is done, this impact of direct, indirect and induced effects are analyzed, with the Gross Value Added indicator conducting a comparative analysis between 2011 and 2012, the economic participation of these activities in the economy of the region. In this research methodology is applied to the Input - Output, in order to determine the economic impact of disaggregating it into three categories: direct, indirect and induced impacts. This economic impact of the Port Industry has been measured by the ability to generate gross value added, either directly through the port of Salaverry, and indirectly by companies that benefited from the services provided are the Port, which will Clerk called the Port Industry . The information used has come from reliable sources, basically the datas of INEI, supplemented with data from the Accounts of each company. In addition, it has developed a process of surveys and consultations to various companies has served to show, especially the difficulties of obtaining information in this way. In the course of the investigation when talking about activities in the Port Terminal of Salaverry, we refer to them also as only Port or Port Terminal of Salaverry.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEn la presente investigación se realiza un diagnóstico del impacto económico que un aumento en las actividades que actualmente se desarrollan en el Terminal Portuario de Salaverry ha generado en la economía de La Libertad, se analiza dicho impacto de forma directa, indirecta e inducida, teniendo como indicador el Valor Agregado Bruto realizando un análisis comparativo entre los años 2011 y 2012, de la participación económica de dichas actividades en la economía de la Región. En ésta investigación se aplica la metodología Input – Output, con el fin de determinar el impacto económico desagregando a éste en tres categorías: impactos directos, indirectos e inducidos. Éste impacto económico de la Industria Portuaria ha sido medido a través de la capacidad para generar Valor Agregado Bruto, tanto directamente por el Puerto de Salaverry, como indirectamente por las empresas que se ven beneficiadas de los servicios prestados por el Puerto, al cual se le denomina Industria Dependiente del Puerto. La información utilizada ha procedido de fuentes confiables, básicamente de las datas de INEI, complementadas con otros datos procedentes de la Contabilidad de cada empresa. Además, se ha desarrollado un proceso de encuestas y consultas a distintas empresas que ha servido para constatar, sobre todo, las dificultades de obtención de información por esta vía. En el desarrollo de la investigación cuando se hable sobre las actividades realizadas en el Terminal Portuario de Salaverry, nos referiremos a ellas también como sólo Terminal Portuario o Puerto de Salaverry.es_ES
