Conocimientos y prácticas de higiene bucal en estudiantes de secundaria, Institución Educativa Puente Piedra de Huamachuco

Abstract
El presente informe de investigación es de tipo cuantitativo - descriptivo, trasversal, se realizó en la Institución Educativa N°- 80152 Puente Piedra, Huamachuco, con el objetivo principal, de describir el vínculo que existe entre el nivel de conocimientos y prácticas de higiene bucal en las dimensiones de cuidado, técnica, implementos y atención odontológica en los estudiantes del primer y segundo grado de secundaria. El universo muestral estuvo conformado por 50 estudiantes equivalente al total de estudiantes del primer y segundo grado de secundaria. Se utilizó como instrumento de recolección de datos el cuestionario, la lista de cotejo, y validado por prueba piloto con una confiabilidad y validez RSS de 0.752, y RSS. 782, para medir las variables de la investigación, la escala del nivel de conocimiento cuenta con 10 preguntas y se clasifica en cuatro dimensiones, cuidado bucal, técnica de higiene bucal, implementos para la higiene bucal, atención odontológica y la lista de cotejo para determinar el nivel de prácticas que consta de 10 preguntas. Los datos fueron procesados en el programa estadístico SPSS Versión 27, los resultados se presentaron en tablas de una y doble entrada, para analizar la relación entre variables, se usó la estadística descriptiva. Conclusión: Se determinó una correlación positiva con probabilidad menores a 0.01 y 0.05 siendo importante y altamente significativa

The questionnaire and checklist were used as a data collection instrument, and validated by pilot testing with an RSS reliability and validity of 0.752, and RSS. 782, to measure the research variables, the level of knowledge scale has 10 questions and is classified into four dimensions, oral care, oral hygiene technique, implements for oral hygiene, dental care and the checklist to determine the practical level which consists of 10 questions. The data were processed in the statistical program SPSS Version 27, the results were presented in single and double entry tables, to analyze the relationship between variables, descriptive statistics were used.
