Abstract
Investigación, tipo descriptivo, tuvo como objetivo determinar las estrategias de afrontamiento según los tipos de violencia intrafamiliar de la mujer rural del sector de las Pampas de San Juan – Laredo. El universo muestral estuvo conformado por 40 mujeres rurales. Los datos se obtuvieron de dos instrumentos: cuestionario de violencia y escala de afrontamiento. Fueron procesados en el programa estadístico SPSS por Windows versión 23. Los resultados se presentaron en tablas simples y de frecuencias de una entrada, numérica y porcentual. El valor más alto de violencia es de tipo físico con un 97.5%, psicológica y sexual ambas presentan 82%. En las estrategias de afrontamiento se encontraron positivas en expresión emocional con un 60%, búsqueda de apoyo social un 75%, recurso espiritual un 70% y evitación un 62.5%. Las estrategias negativas en la dimensión focalizado en el problema con un 88%, autofocalización con un 62.5% y reevaluación con un 67.5%
