Leoncio Prado from Huamachuco, the sample was made up of 93 pregnant women who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results obtained were: The educational level of the study group is 40.9% at the secondary level; 26.9% primary; 19.3% without studies and 12.9% with higher education. About customs; the highest percentage (67.7%) are adequate and 32.3% are not adequate. The beliefs; The highest percentage (87.1%) reports being good and 12.9% reporting being bad. When choosing the place of delivery care, the highest percentage (80.6%) chose Institutional delivery (Leoncio Prado Hospital) and 19.4% chose home delivery. The relationship that exists between sociocultural factors with the choice of birth care location is highly significant, evidenced by applying the Chi square test with a value of x2=24.933; p<.001, with customs x2=39.499; p<.001 and beliefs x2=57.407; p<.001 | |
