| dc.description | The present non-experimental and transvertional-correlational research, have as its main objective to determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and the coping in the climacteric in women between 40- and 50-years old belonging to the city of Huamachuco - Vista Alegre sector. The sample will be made up of 132 women in the climacteric stage. For the measurement of both variables, the Level of Knowledge Questionnaire on climacteric and the Scale of Measurement of the Coping and Adaptation Process will be used. For the statistical analysis, the Criteria Independence Test, from the statistical software IBM SPSS v. 24.0, since they correspond to categorical variables and the findings will be presented in simple descriptive and contingency statistical tables. The results showed that 12% of women have a low level of Climacteric Awareness, 68% a Medium level and 20% a High level. While, at the Coping level, 14% had a low capacity, 70% a regular Capacity and 16% a High Capacity. Finally, the relationship between the level of knowledge and coping is statistically significant. | dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación no experimental y de corte transversal – correlacional, tuvo como principal objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimientos y el afrontamiento en el climaterio en mujeres de entre 40 a 50 años pertenecientes a la ciudad de Huamachuco – sector Vista Alegre. La muestra estuvo conformada por 127 mujeres en etapa de climaterio. Para la medición de ambas variables se recurrió al Cuestionario de Nivel de conocimientos sobre climaterio y la Escala de Medición del Proceso de Afrontamiento y Adaptación. Para el análisis estadístico se empleó la Prueba de Independencia de Criterios, del software estadístico IBM SPSS v. 24.0, ya que corresponden a variables categóricas y los hallazgos se presentaron en tablas estadísticas descriptivas simples y de contingencia. Los resultados mostraron que, el 12% de las mujeres poseen un nivel bajo de Conocimiento sobre el Climaterio, el 68% un nivel Medio y el 20% un nivel Alto. Mientras que, en nivel de Afrontamiento; el 14% tuvo una baja capacidad, el 70% una regular Capacidad y el 16% una Alta Capacidad. Por último, la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y afrontamiento es estadísticamente significativa. Se concluyó que, existe una correlación positiva moderada entre las variables. | es_PE |
