dc.description.abstractEl empleo informal es en el Perú un problema presente a lo largo del tiempo, el cual ocasiona menos bienestar y productividad en el país. Es por ello que el objetivo de este estudio es poder analizar los factores determinantes del empleo informal en el Perú en el año 2019. La hipótesis de tesis obtenida a partir de las investigaciones realizadas fue que los determinantes del empleo informal son: el nivel educativo, el género, el área de residencia, la región natural y la actividad económica desempeñada. Para poder llegar a los resultados, se utilizó como base de datos la Encuesta Nacional de Hogares realizada en el año 2019 y el modelo econométrico Logit, lo que llevó a concluir la validez de la hipótesis planteada. Los resultados nos indican que nivel educativo, genero, región natural, área de residencia y actividad económica si influyen en el aumento del empleo informal. Por consiguiente, el estado debería dar mayor acceso a la educación a toda la población, ya que les representará mejores oportunidades; también debería fomentar mayor supervisión de las autoridades tanto en áreas urbanas y aún más en rurales, de la creación de negocios informales y brindar capacitaciones a los emprendedores de como formalizarse y hacer crecer su empresa.es_PE
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Informal employment is a long-standing problem in Peru, which causes less welfare and productivity in the country. That is why the objective of this study is to analyse the determinants of informal employment in Peru in 2019. The thesis hypothesis obtained from the research carried out was that the determinants of informal employment are: educational level, gender, area of residence, natural region and economic activity performed. In order to arrive at the results, the National Household Survey conducted in 2019 and the econometric Logit model were used as a database, which led to conclude the validity of the hypothesis. The results indicate that educational level, gender, natural region, area of residence and economic activity do influence the increase in informal employment. Therefore, the state should give greater access to education to the whole population, as it will represent better opportunities for them; it should also encourage greater supervision by the authorities in urban areas and even more in rural areas, of the creation of informal businesses and provide training to entrepreneurs on how to formalise and grow their businesses.
