dc.descriptionThe present research work was carried out in the sector of Chepén Alto, Province of Chepén, La Libertad Region whose geographical location is located at: 7 ° 14'32 "south latitude, 79 ° 28 '06" west longitude; at a height of 0 to 131 m.s.m. with the support of the farmers where the research work was carried out: Diagnosis of fertilization in Zea mays L. in Chepén Alto, Chepén - La Libertad. For the development of this research work was made the visit to the different farms of corn producers taking into account a list of producers taken based on the board of users of Valle Jequetepeque and making a random selection to then make the surveys established. The results show that farmers in the field perform the following management in relation to fertilization in the corn crop: most use phosphate, potassium sulfate, urea and ammonium sulfate, fertilize three to four times, use the same fertilizers always, there are two ways of using fertilization, either picketing or spouting on the plant, the same farmer is advised by asking themselves and there are many who do it manually or mechanized. They do not use the appropriate recommendations such as: an adequate dose, generally no one performs a soil analysis, does not use organic matter, and does not receive adequate technical advice for the cultivation of corn in the Chepén area of the high district of Chepén, Región la Freedom.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en el sector de Chepén Alto, Provincia de Chepén, Región La Libertad cuya ubicación geográfica está ubicado a: 7° 14’32” de latitud sur, 79° 28’ 06” de longitud oeste; a una altura de los 0 a 131 m.s.n.m con el apoyo de los agricultores donde se realizó el trabajo de investigación: Diagnóstico de la fertilización en Zea mays L. en Chepén Alto, Chepén – La Libertad. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo de investigación se hizo la visita a los diferentes predios de los productores de maíz teniendo en cuenta una lista de productores tomada en base a la junta de usuarios del Valle Jequetepeque y haciendo una selección al azar para luego hacerles las encuestas establecidas. Los resultados demuestran que los agricultores del ámbito realizan el siguiente manejo en relación a la fertilización en el cultivo de maíz: la mayoría utiliza fosfato, sulfato de potasio, urea y sulfato de amonio, fertilizan de tres a cuatro veces, utilizan los mismos fertilizantes siempre, hay dos modalidades de emplear el abonamiento ya sea a piquete o a chorro encima de la planta, el mismo agricultor se asesora preguntándose entre ellos mismos y hay muchos que lo hacen de manera manual o mecanizada. No utilizan las recomendaciones adecuadas como: una dosis adecuada, por lo general nadie realiza un análisis de suelos, no utilizan materia orgánica, y no reciben un asesoramiento técnico adecuado para el cultivo de maíz en la zona de Chepén Alto, Distrito de Chepén, Región La Libertad.es_PE
