dc.description | The intestinal microbiota is the bacterial variety that live in the gastrointestinal tract, the colonization begins immediately at birth and is modulated by numerous factors. Objective: Determine the variation in the intestinal microbiota of breastfed newborns for the 1st, 14th and 27th day old. Materials and Methods: Prospective, longitudinal and descriptive study. We was obtained stool sample the 1st, 14th and 27th day post-partum of 18 newborn identifying type and CUF/ml bacterial. Results: Identified primarily Lactobacillus sp., S. coagulasa negative, E. coli, Bifidobacterium sp., S. aureus. The 1st, 14th and 27th day post-partum were identified: Anaerobic (7.04 ± 0.8 log CUF/ml, 10.13 ± 0.82 log CUF/ml y 12.22 ± 0.86 log CUF/ml respectively), Micro-anaerobic (7.67 ± 0.67 log CUF/ml, 9.76 ± 0.9 log CUF/ml, 11.55 ± 0.79 log CUF/ml respectively), Lactobacillus (5.52 ± 0.8 log CUF/ml, 7.42 ± 0.76 log CUF/ml, 8.59 ± 0.58 log CUF/ml respectively). Conclusion: The intestinal microbiote varies according bacterial species and CFU/ml, gradually increasing the 1st, 14th and 27th day post-partum; the 1st day dominated microanaerobios, 14th and 27th day post-partum strict anaerobes | es_PE |
