dc.descriptionThis thesis was carried out with the purpose to explain the influence of family support in the health of the Older Adult belonging to the program of Diabetes and hypertension of the Hospital de La Caleta, Chimbote: 2015. It has been considered the type of applied research, on the basis of an explanatory design, has been used the methods and techniques of qualitative and quantitative research, and the sample consisted of 108 older adults belonging to the program of Diabetes and hypertension, where we have been able to hear that have low levels of communication, poor familial relationships and suffer from family neglect that negatively affect the quality of the physical and mental health. With this research we intend to provide information to the area of Social Welfare of Hospital La Caleta in Chimbote, to implement programs to the families and institutions benefactors to search for social solve this problem. As social workers we must promote an excellent quality of health through a process of aging happy.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLa presente tesis se realizó con la finalidad de explicar la influencia del soporte familiar en la salud del Adulto Mayor perteneciente al programa de Diabetes e Hipertensión del Hospital La Caleta, Chimbote: 2015. Se ha considerado el tipo de investigación aplicada, teniendo como base un diseño explicativo, se ha utilizado los métodos y técnicas de la investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa y, la muestra constó de 108 adultos mayores pertenecientes al programa de Diabetes e Hipertensión, en donde se ha podido auscultar que presentan bajo nivel de comunicación, deficientes relaciones intrafamiliares y padecen de abandono familiar que afectan negativamente la calidad de la salud física y mental. Con esta investigación nos proponemos brindar información al Área de Bienestar Social de Hospital La Caleta de Chimbote, para implementar programas dirigidos a los familiares e instituciones benefactores para buscar solucionar esta problemática social. Como trabajadoras sociales debemos fomentar una excelente calidad de salud mediante un proceso de envejecimiento feliz.es_ES
