Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo (HRDT), es de tipo cualitativa, diseño descriptivo, tiene como propósito describir y analizar cómo es el cuidado espiritual de enfermería al adulto crítico en el Servicio de Emergencia del HRDT. Los referentes teóricos que sustentan la presente investigación son: Boff (2002) y Waldow (2006) sobre cuidado espiritual. Los sujetos de investigación estuvieron conformados por 10 enfermeras que laboran en el HRDT en el servicio de emergencia y se obtuvieron por saturación de discurso, seleccionadas de acuerdo a los criterios de inclusión propuestos. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la entrevista semiestructurada, para el análisis de datos se usó el análisis temático, en el cual se obtuvieron 2 categorías: La primera Enfermería y cuidado espiritual con 2 subcategorías: Cuidado espiritual relacionado a la religión y Creencias religiosas; la segunda categoría Formas de brindar cuidado espiritual, con 2 subcategorías: Resonancias del cuidado espiritual y Participación familiar en el cuidado
The present research was conducted at the Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo (HRDT). It is a qualitative study with a descriptive design, aimed at describing and analyzing how spiritual nursing care is provided to critically ill adults in the Emergency Department of HRDT. The theoretical frameworks supporting this research are based on Boff (2002) and Waldow (2006) regarding spiritual care. The research subjects consisted of 10 nurses working in the emergency department at HRDT, selected through discourse saturation and in accordance with the proposed inclusion criteria. A semi-structured interview was used for data collection, and thematic analysis was employed for data analysis, resulting in two categories: The first, Nursing and spiritual care, with two subcategories: Spiritual care related to religion and Religious beliefs; the second category, Forms of providing spiritual care, with two subcategories: Resonances of spiritual care and Family participation in care.
