dc.descriptionABSTRACT The present research aims to determine the knowledge about pharmacological protocols in oral surgery, managed by the dentists of the Piura peninsula. A descriptive study was carried out. 171 dentists working in the Piura peninsula were selected for data collection. They were informed about the research and were asked to sign informed consent. A survey of 16 questions was used. Statistical processing and analysis of the information was performed through the statistical program SPSS version 20. Dentists of the Piura peninsula mostly perform simple exodoncies and prescribe analgesics with regular compliance with pharmacological protocols, and most of them prescribe penicillins with a poor level of knowledge. It was determined that dentists of the Piura peninsula prescribe with a level of regular knowledge about pharmacological protocols in oral surgery.es_PE
dc.description.abstractRESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como propósito determinar los conocimientos sobre protocolos farmacológicos en cirugía oral, manejados por los odontólogos del cercado de Piura. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo. Fueron seleccionados 171 cirujanos dentistas que laboren en el cercado de Piura para la recolección de datos. Se les informó sobre la investigación y se les pidió firmar el consentimiento informado. Se utilizó una encuesta de 16 preguntas. El procesamiento y análisis estadístico de la información se realizó a través del programa estadístico SPSS versión 20. Los odontólogos del cercado de Piura realizan en su mayoría exodoncias simples y prescriben analgésicos teniendo un regular cumplimiento de los protocolos farmacológicos, además en su mayoría prescriben penicilinas con un nivel deficiente de conocimientos. Se determinó que los odontólogos del cercado de Piura prescriben con un nivel de conocimiento regular sobre los protocolos farmacológicos en cirugía oral.es_PE
