Abstract
El objetivo del proyecto de investigación será: Determinar los factores asociados a COVID-19 grave en pacientes adultos hospitalizados durante 2020 - 2021 en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo. Es un estudio de tipo analítico, observacional, retrospectivo, de casos y controles, no experimental. La muestra es de tipo no probabilístico intencional, dado que englobará a todos los pacientes hospitalizados con diagnóstico de COVID-19, que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión durante el periodo de estudio. El instrumento de estudio será la ficha de recolección de datos. Por último el análisis estadístico se realizará a través de la estadística descriptiva (media, moda, desviación estándar y varianza). La estadística inferencial (prueba estadística chi cuadrado). Los estadígrafos propios del estudio mediante la prueba Odds ratio (identificándose que el valor mayor a 1 se interpreta como más alto riesgo y el valor menor a 1 como factor protector) y se establecerá un análisis multivariado que determinará la existencia de relación significativa entre las variables de estudio (se tendrá una significancia estadística con una p<0.05). Por último, en todo el proceso de la investigación se tendrá en cuenta los principios de la declaración de Helsinki.
The objective of the research project will be: Determine the factors associated with severe COVID-19 in adult patients hospitalized during 2020 - 2021 at the Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo. It is an analytical, observational, retrospective, case-control, non-experimental study. The sample is intentional non-probabilistic, since it will include all hospitalized patients with a diagnosis of COVID-19, who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria during the study period. The study instrument will be the data collection sheet. Finally, the statistical analysis will be carried out through descriptive statistics (mean, mode, standard deviation and variance). Inferential statistics (chi square statistical test). The study's own statistics using the Odds ratio test (identifying that the value greater than 1 is interpreted as higher risk and the value less than 1 as a protective factor) and a multivariate analysis will be established that will determine the existence of a significant relationship between the variables. of study (there will be statistical significance with a p<0.05). Finally, the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki will be taken into account throughout the research process.
