Abstract
Esta investigación fue de tipo cualitativa-descriptiva y tuvo por objeto de estudio el Cuidado de Enfermería desde la mirada del adolescente. El objetivo fue describir y comprender el cuidado que brinda la enfermera a los adolescentes. El escenario de estudio fue en el Centro de Liberación Social de categoría I-3, Distrito de Víctor Larco Herrera. La muestra se obtuvo por el principio de saturación, obteniendo un total de siete participantes. Se utilizó la entrevista estructurada como técnica de recolección de datos. Para el análisis de datos se utilizó la codificación abierta, axial y selectiva, lo que dio como resultado dos categorías de cuidado: como una forma de relación y expresión, por un lado y como promoción y prevención, por otro; además de cuatro subcategorías: actitudes generadoras de actos, comunicación terapéutica durante el cuidado, educación para la salud y prevención de daños y, por último, habilidades técnicas en el cuidado. La investigación reveló que la parte actitudinal y expresiva de la enfermera juega un papel importante durante su cuidado; además, se puso en evidencia las habilidades desarrolladas durante el proceso de cuidar, demostrando que la enfermería es, a la vez, ciencia y arte.
Description
This research was of qualitative-descriptive type and had as object of study the Nursing Care from the look of the adolescent. The goal was to describe and understand the nurse’s care for adolescents. The stage of study was at the I-3 Social Liberation Center, Víctor Larco Herrera District. The sample was obtained by the saturation principle, obtaining a total of seven participants. The structured interview was used as a data collection technique. Open, axial and selective coding was used for data analysis, resulting in two categories of care: as a form of relationship and expression, on the one hand, and as promotion and prevention, on the other; in addition to four subcategories: action-generating attitudes, therapeutic communication during care, health education and harm prevention and, finally, technical skills in care. The research revealed that the attitudinal and expressive part of the nurse plays an important role during her care; in addition, the skills developed during the process of caring were highlighted, demonstrating that nursing is both science and art.
